We are soon getting a new email domain and will be using the build in kerio domain change option. I seem to remember in the test environment that when I changed the domain name, the change was pushed out to my outlook account. I've been told however that each client has to make the change manually. Am I just remembering wrong? Do you indeed have to add a new account pointing to the changed domain?

Hi tjacobs,

Welcome to the forums!!!

If the users are all in a primary domain then you do not need to do anything to Outlook (PC) as that just uses the username to log on to the server (However if they are using Outlook on a Mac they will need to go into the account settings and change their email address). Keep in mind if the users have any mobile devices hooked up to Kerio they may need to make changes there as well.

If this change is for a non-primary domain then you will need to change the domain listed in KOFF to log on with.

I hope this helps,
Vicky
