We are going to turn off our old Jabber server and we want to use our Kerio ms instead.

Currently most of our Macs are running Mountain Lion but we have still got some machines running Snow Leopard (10.6.Cool
It seems that SLs iChat has problem sending text and files when using the Kerio jabber account.

Text:
- incoming chats are only received when a outgoing message to the same contact is sent

Files:
- when sending a single file the receiver gets a information that the file is sent 5-7 times
- files seem to get stuck in download status

We 'd like to avoid switching all remaining user from iChat to another Client.
Are there any helpful informations how to fix it?

Kind regards

Daniel

You can use any XMPP client. We recommend clients, which are easy to set up and easy to use, such as Pidgin.
