I can't block Facebook's games by blocking a particular MIME type.

I can block it if I create a URL rule that blocks apps.facebook.com/*.

Versions lower that 7.4.0 can't block HTTPS sites with URL rules you need to force the users to use the HTTP proxy on port 3128 for secure webpages. You also need to block port 443 in your Traffic Rules.

If you do not do this then the users can still access Facebook using https://apps.facebook.com. The only way to block a secure page with Kerio Control prior to 7.4.0 is to force the users to use the non-transparent proxy on port 3128.

If you do not block port 443 in your Traffic Rules then the users could disable the proxy server settings in their web browser and thus bypass your URL rule for apps.facebook.com.

first Thanks for your kind reply mate,
Actually i am using transparent proxy on default port 3128, (http, https, dns) are the only ports are allowed in traffic rules only for internet access, ok, i will try block facebook apps as per your advice, thanks again. Smile
