After selecting an existing contact on my android phone with the purpose to make a call through Kerio softphone something strange happens. And there is no difference whether i select a contact directly from the android contact list or choose one through the Kerio softphone.

This is the message i get:

Call Failed
404 - Not Found
[name] [number]

Duration: [time duration]
Account: [name - extension]

Any clues on this one?

Hi

Is your PBX configured with prefixes for outbound dialing? If so, then you need to include a prefix also when dialing from a softphone.

To work around this, you can setup number rewriting rules to automatically add needed prefixes. Click the "Dialplan Configuration" button on the Softphones screen in Kerio Operator. Before making any rules make sure that you can dial numbers incl. prefixes.

Best
Filip

Hello Filip,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. All my contacts hav a leading plus sign (+). A simple rule fixed the problem!
