Good morning everyone,

we are on the latest kerio connect version (8.1) and use company wide the webmail interface, if possible.

We are hitting a limit in searching though and I hope it's a usability issue:

a) How do you search/filter for all unread emails?
b) How do you search/filter for all marked emails?
c) How do you limit search for "from", "to" or "subject" only?

Above would help us a lot! is there something like "from: <email Adress>" or a regular expression or so? Did I miss this while reading the documentation?

Regards
Markus

a), b) - press the Key Down in the search box and select the option you want from the drop-down menu.
c) select that option from a drop-down menu while you type the text in the search box.

Hi Pavel,

I feel dumb to ask this: Which drop down are you talking about?

See screenshot,

thanks

Markus

Hi Pavel,

brilliant feature and exactly, what I was looking for.

But unfortunately it does not show in my browsers!

I tried on Win7 in latest version of chrome, firefox, safari and IE9 (using https)
I tried on Win2003 (the mail server itself) in IE8 (using http and https)

No luck! The chrome debugger shows no javascript error also, when pressing the down key.

This needs to be enabled somewhere? please note that our kerio installation was migrated over the years from kerio 6 to 7 to 8 and now 8.1.

Thanks for your help,

Regards

Did you enable Fulltext search indexing in the web administration?

Hi Pavel,

I enabled it now and like magic the drop down appeared (after re-login). It does not work yet, as the index is rebuilding, but it looks very promising. I particularly like the way you can simply combine criteria, like all "flagged" and all "unread".

Good stuff!

thanks for you fast response. That was spot on!

Regards

Markus
