Hi,

Is anyone using WorkSpace for in-house IT support requests?

WorkSpace might allow users to report problems to the IT team, and the IT team could collaborate in fixing problems. Users and IT team together can remain informed about progress toward solutions.

Just looking for any real-world experience before possibly moving forward.

Thanks,

ft.

Very good, thanks.

Can you please explain how you use WorkSPace to process support requests...

How does a user report a problem? Do they create a new page to report the problem?

After a problem is reported is communications done using a new page, a new component, comments or...?

Do you allow users to search past problems?

Thanks,

ft.

Sorry for the late response...

We installed a page for every department.
The employees create a text for their problem and the supporter gets an email when it's online.

Wenn the supporter works on the case he will answer the text and type in his solutions - so we have a documentation of the supporters work.

The supervisor takes the common problems to a general site where the usual problems are stored and the employees where instructed to go there first and have a look if they can fix the problem on their own.

It all works pretty well except the usual errormsg that the browser isn't supported.

All in all it's a shame WS had to die Sad
