Can someone confirm:
If you have a current support agreement, with no license extensions, can you go ahead and upgrade the version (e.g. to 8.1.1)and retain the use of ActiveSync.
I understand that the license includes the use of ActiveSync until the current support period expires. But does this allow you to upgrade during the support agreement, or will AciveSync stop working?
Thanks

Hello,

Basically, if you already have a licence within software maintenance and you have renewed your licence before 1st May 2013 you should have ActiveSync on licence already.

If you like send me your licence ID in a private message and I will look it up in our database and confirm it for you.

All the best,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
Thanks for the reply. The license is under a current support contract, March to March.
I just want to be absolutely sure that when we upgrade the version to 8.1.1 it won't start asking for a license extension for EAS.

Hi,

No problem, if you want to be 100% sure send me your licence ID in a private message or you can call us in support and we can check this for you.

The link below has all the phone numbers for our offices so you can call the one closest to you and we can then check your licence for you:

All the best,
