I am trying to retrieve all the emails for a user that will be used for discovery in a case that involves our company. I am searching the archive folders using the user's email address and name but it only shows me the emails that she sent, not the ones she received as well.

Anybody have some hints on how to perform a search and retrieve all the emails for a user, both incoming and outgoing?

We had something like this a year or so ago and ended up doing it through the command line. It looked something like this:

fgrep -irl -H "email<_at_>address.com" /Path/To/Archive/* | xargs -J % cp % /Where/To/Copy/Email_to_Lawyers/

YMMV

I pressed the button by mistake, and when the post is without content the system shows this. Sorry for confusion I was not able to delete this Wink
