Hi All

I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue.

OverView

I have set up 3 New mobile devices for 3 new members of staff (iPhone 4, iPhone 4s & iPhone 5) by doing the following method

Browsing to webmail interface & set up mobile using webmail interface

I have entered the correct username & password all went well & the account created correctly as im able to send & received email from the mobile devices

When I log into Kerio Connect admin & navigate to Users normally I would be able to right click on the users & see the mobile devise that has been created by doing the following

Find user --> Right Click --> More Actions --> Mobile Devices

The two issues I have are

1) I can not wipe the device if the user looses it which is a security issue
2) I can not confirm that other users have connected their smart phone devices to their email account with out permission

Any feedback / suggestions welcome We are using Kerio 8.02 on OSX 10.3.8

Thanks a million for your help in advance

Hi, Bee

1: The default mobile type is ical/imap etc, so if the device is lost you need to use the apple cloud options for wiping the device:

http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-connect/os-x/imap-caldav-c arddav-accounts-on-ios-devices-1292.html

2: It is correct that non activesync accounts do not show up in the mobile devices screen.

Depending on your desktop usage, you can block imap and the Outlook connector (sadly not one or the other, but it would have to be both) for specific users.

The only way to see all of the information you have been used to in the past is using ActiveSync.
