Greetings. We just upgraded from 7.4.2 to 8.1.2 and so far the biggest issue we have seen is in the Kerio Connect Client (new webmail) if we double click on a message in our inbox to open it in a new window it opens so very slowly. Sometimes it takes 15-20 seconds to load in the popup. The window pops up quickly but it just stays the default "blue" for a while then it finally brings in the contents. It seems to pound the CPU pretty good to while it does it, hitting and staying around 40-50% the entire time until it finally renders the message. OUr workstations are mostly XP with IE8 and before we roll out our Windows 7 upgrades we thought we would upgrade our mail server first but this sluggishness happens on IE9 under Win7 as well. Compatibility mode and disabling all plugins doesn't seem to help either.
We tried on Opera, the only other browser I have access to on our network, and it actually works just great and isn't slow even though it is listed as unsupported. The server is not under any load and since it works on Opera it seems to be related to IE.
Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: Nothing else seems to be slow. The right preview pane loads nice and quick. OUr server is MS Server 2008 on ESXI 5.1. I am using the 32 bit version of Kerio.
EDIT2: My friend has a 8.1.0 32 bit running on Ubuntu and performance of the new webmail is very good on it on IE8 and IE9. There seems to be a difference from 8.1.0 to 8.1.2 or a difference between the Linux and Windows versions of Kerio to have such differences in performance.
EDIT3: IE10 has the same performance issue. Firefox 17 ESR does not and is very quick.
