Hi, i receive everyday tons of mail from my own domain, and from my own address, even if i have spf record check on and spf setted up on dns (domain is direte.it)

on header i don't see any trace of spf check, is it normal?

i even see "autolearn=no" what does it mean?

see this as example:

It is normal becuase SPF checks the real sender email, which is gmail.com.
You need to configure also Caller-ID to verify the From: email header.

Surprised

Ok, i misunderstand spf ... but ... now ... callerid seems to be a microsoft idea ... that is not more detailed on microsoft website (even kerio help link to ms site are broken)

So, how to put it on dns?

Tks

Hi,

We do not have exact instructions on how to do this but we do have a knowledge base article that will point you in the right direction. Have a look at the link below:

http://kb.kerio.com/248

I hope this helps a little.

All the best,
Vicky

Make sure that when you setup either SPF or CallerID records to include references to any third-party email service that may send out emails on your behalf, like a marketing company. They would need to be included in these settings so that email servers that use SPF or CallerID don't think the emails they send are fakes.
