Kerio Workspace users who want to move to Samepage now have an easy migration path. Just follow these six easy steps.
1. Contact Kerio
If you are a customer, fill out this request form. If you are a partner, log into the Partner Portal and fill out the Workspace Loyalty Plan form under the Sales Tools section.
Once we receive your request for migration, we will contact you to request information on your current Kerio Workspace installation, and to evaluate the best Samepage plan option for you.
2. Upgrade your Kerio Workspace to version 2.1.2
In the meantime, download the latest version of Kerio Workspace 2.1.2 and upgrade your Workspace.
3. Prepare your Kerio Workspace for migration
Your Account Manager will coordinate with Kerio's support team to provide you with complete instructions on how to migrate your information, including setting up your FTP account.
4. Perform a full backup and upload to Samepage Cloud
Kerio's support team will assist you with creating a full backup (Migration to Samepage -> Full Export) of your Kerio Workspace data. These steps can take a while but your Kerio Workspace will continue to run as normal and collect new information, which will be transferred during the differentiall backup.
5. Stop your Kerio Workspace and perform a differential backup
Now, you should be ready to switch! Your support engineer will walk you through uploading the differential backup to our FTP server. Kerio Cloud Operations will then complete the migration process.
Please note, we strongly suggest that you stop using Workspace after you've completed the differential export, as any new changes that you make in Workspace will not be moved over to Samepage.
6. You are ready to log into Samepage
You are now ready to use Samepage! Your users will have the same login names in Samepage as in Kerio Workspace, and will need to go to They will receive an email with a link for setting/resetting their password. Once they click on the link and set a new password, voilĂ ! they (and you) are on your way to using Samepage!
If you still have questions, check out our online user community, or give us a call at 1-888-77-KERIO. We are always here to help.
