Hi all, trying to figure out how to set this up. I have a public folder with an email address (an alias address forwarding the message to a public folder). I want to be able to send emails (from an internal business application) to a specific user and the alias address for the public folder so ultimately the message is received in the public folder and the user's folder. I can't seem to reference the public folder anywhere but in the alias, and the alias can't be in a distribution group. So how do I make this work? Thanks!

forward the alias to a user and in users webmail forward to a public folder by a rule that also says leave a copy in inbox.

create a mailing list instead of a distribution group. add the address for the folder as well as the user to the list members.

Two possible solutions:
1. Configure your business application to put two recipients into the message (user and alias for public folder).
2. Create the same alias also for the user. This way the message sent to the alias will be processed by both (same) aliases and delivered to both public folder and user.
