Hi all!

I did some tests and discover that with Intrusion Prevention enabled my upload speed drop significant, there is some way to improve Intrusion Prevention without need to disable completely?

Here my numbers:

Intrusion Prevention - ENABLED

Intrusion Prevention - DISABLED

I´m using the last linux version of Kerio Control running in a Hyper-V 2012, with 2 core and 2 GB ram to VM.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried other hypervisors?

You also didn't specify what hardware you are running on.

I get higher upload speeds than that using a single core. I'm using ESXi 5.1 using an Intel E5-2430L. I have similar download speeds and ping.

Core i7 2930 - 12 GB RAM - with 2 more VMs, Kerio Connect on CentOS and Server 2012.

I did tests with others linux firewall iPFire, SmoothWall, ClearOS and the speed is good all the time, then I started disable Kerio Control services one by one, just Intrusion Detection service had some influence in speed.

But I will do more tests in home with Parallels.

Thanks!

Looks like the last version (8.2.1) fixed this problem.
