After Updating from 8.1.3 to 8.2 we couldn't relay our outgoing mails to our smtp-relay. In the from field was the internal user address <name<_at_>name.local> instead of the sender address from the web-client's from-field. So we got status 550 'envelope sender not allowed ...' from the smtp-relay. After going back to 8.1.3 the error didn't occur.
This was the first time that an update for Kerio Connect failed.

Hello,

I believe this is due to the new anti-spoofing features in Kerio Connect 8.2, as explained here:

http://kb.kerio.com/1491

I would suggest you look at renaming your domain in your Kerio Server to match your external domain name, and add the proper email addresses to each account.

You can find guidance on doing that here:

http://kb.kerio.com/1122

Let me know if that solves the issue.

Best regards,

Neil.

Hello,

is renaming the domain really the only way to solve this "problem"?

What happens, if the new anti spoofing is not enabled for the domain xxx<_at_>yyy.local?

We've got the same constellation as "sfloerke" and round about 150 accounts. Renaming the domain and, empty the cache of KOFF for each user etc. is a lot of work .....

Best regards,

Andreas
