Hi Guys,

I'm having an issue with a user who's certain INBOX messages are going straight to the delete folder.

I'm running a trace on the operation.log and all I see is that someone (or a filter) is deleting these messages. He has multiple devices and a couple of secretaries that manage his emails.

Is there a way to add some type of Client Agent, or fingerprint to the logs ? Any other suggestions ?

In my operations log, the {DELETE} operations (and most of the MOVEs) include an IP address of the client device that performed the action--letting me figure out if it was the user's phone, ipad, assistant, home computer, or whatever. Is that not the case with your operations log?

Maybe it is version specific, but since you haven't indicated what version or OS you are using, I can only guess.

Absolutely, however the problem with this is that the IP address shown is the public IP address from the office. Behind that firewall there is about 7-8 devices with his email stuff.

Telling them to start closing email clients to test won't work because there seems to be no specific pattern as to when or how these emails are being deleted.

Sometimes 1 - 2 a day, some days none.

This has me bugging out ha !

I see. My mail server is on the same side of the firewall as most of the clients, so it is easy for me.

From within Kerio connect, sorry, I don't know of a way to learn more in your situation.

I'd probably go to the office firewall logs (which should have the individual 7-8 device IP numbers) and coorelate time stamps to try to tell which device was connecting at the time the DELETEs are happening.
