kerio: 8.2.0 (1957)
osx: 10.6.8
outlook: 2011 14.3.8 (130913)

migrating over from an old.. now defunct calendar system to using shared calendars in outlook 2011 for the mac

having some issues

when in outlook... i select the calendar i want to share.. select the DEFAULT user and share permissions... i change it from NONE to REVIEWER.... save... but.. when i reopen the calendar to check sharing.. it has reverted back to NONE

some of the calendars that have been shared (either by enabling sharing in the kerio client... or by assigning specific users as reviewers) are not showing up in some peoples outlook.. but it is in others... i go thru the same procedure for connecting to the share as the ones that are successful.. it appears to make the connection (no error)... but nothing shows in outlook

just out of interest... what is the recommended workflow for calendar sharing

some of our users have "public" events that they are happy to share.. but... others that they don't want anyone else to see.... they are thinking of creating 2 calendars... is this the right way to go.. i noticed that you can mark an event as "private"... but it still seems to show on the calendar... which is not what we are after

any help / insight greatly appreciated

1) "Default" user type is not supported by Connect. It's not saved to the message store, therefore it's always "none" after reload.
2) Please try to reproduce the unsuccessful opening of the shared folder with logging enabled (see http://kb.kerio.com/article.php?id=1053) and send us the log

Events marked as private are displayed with no details (e.g. in freebusy) or not shown at all in other user's calendar (depends on the client).
