Hello,

When I trying to send a fax, in Warning section (KO) appears "WARNING[12198]: res_rtp_asterisk.c:2156 in ast_rtp_read: RTP Read too short" information and the fax fails. I don't know what is a reason of that. Can you help me? Is it a KO problem? Mayby my VOiP provider or VOiP gate (Cisco SPA112)?

Thx for any answer.

Regards

Hi,

is your SPA112 provisioned by Operator? If not, you need to configure few options manually.
Enable T38: Yes
FAX Passthru Method: ReInvite
Disable ECAN: Yes

Does your voip provider support T.38?

Best
Filip

Hi,

I downloaded settings from operator's site (by provisioning), and still nothing. But the problem is not in KO - I just plugged my SPA directly to the Internet and the problem still there, so I think, that I must search resolution in my VOiP operator OR in my Internet provider :/

but thanks Wink

In my case the cause of this problem was my Cisco SPA112 device. Rolling Eyes
