Hi,

The final version of Kerio Operator 2.2.0 was published yesterday. The version comes with several interesting new features. From the technical point of view, the most interesting addition is the new provisioning system that allows admins or resellers with some programming skills (PHP scripting) to develop their own provisioning modules or tweak the existing ones. The new system also improves support for phone firmware upgrades and it can push graphical logos to the provisioned phones' screens.

Another interesting feature is the Salesforce.com integration. Operator now offers a small client application that runs in the browser alongside the Salesforce interface and supports 'click to dial' and can search for calling/called numbers in Salesforce.

The last feature I want to mention in this intro is the automatic backup. I think many admins will like it. You can have backups uploaded either to an FTP server or to Kerio's Samepage cloud platform.

To keep this post short, this is a shortened change log for Operator 2.2.0 final:

+ Added support for phone firmware updates in the new auto-provisioning system.
+ Added support for setting logo images in the new auto-provisioning system.
+ Automatic provisioning now supports Yealink/Well phones T41P, T42G, T46G.
+ Automatic provisioning now supports Grandstream GXP models 1100, 1105, 1160, 1165, 1400, 1405, 1450, 2100, 2110, 2120, 2124v2, 3140, 3175.
+ Automatic provisioning supports Cisco SPA8000.
+ Added automatic provisioning for Snom PA1.
- Fixed the first resync of some phone models after an upgrade to Operator 2.2.
- Fixed time setting on auto-provisioned Snom phones after DST start/end.

Kerio Operator Administration
* New tablet-friendly navigation menu.
* Configurable dashboard.
+ Improved graphs in the System Health screen.
+ Added a new administration screen with an overview of integration features.
+ The screen "Users" now displays information about voice mail usage.
+ Improved the firewall configuration screen to provide more information and reduce the risk of configuration mistakes.
