The list of fixes for KC 8.2.1 in the release history includes this for the Kerio Outlook Connector Offline Edition:

"It is no longer necessary to restart the Outlook, when the message synchronization spontaneously stops."

We upgraded from KC 7.4 to 8.2.0 a few weeks ago, and since then several users have complained that Outlook 2010 with KOFF will "spontaneously" stop synchronizing, but is OK after Outlook is restarted.

I have been investigating this and had not yet found any apparent reason for it. Does this mean that it is a known problem with 8.2.0?

And does this description in the release history mean that it has actually been fixed, and that with 8.2.1 there will not be any more "spontaneous" stopping of KOFF synchronization? Or is it saying that there still will be synchronization failures but it isn't "necessary to restart the Outlook" to fix them?

Clarification would be appreciated.

Fixed issue will no more cause KOFF to stop synchronization, so there will be no reason to restart the Outlook.
