How can I quickly copy public folders(including subfolders) quickly to an account?

We want to use Outlook for the Mac with a personal mailbox account and a separate account which has the function of public folders.
For outlook for the mac the public folder subscription is quite a hassle so using a regular account makes it more accessible.

What is exactly the hassle with public folders? Is it the way of configuration in Outlook for Mac or you have some particular problem?
Although it's possible to copy the content of the public folders, I wouldn't recommend it, public folders are intended for data sharing.

the problem is that for every public folder(and subfolder) you want to show you have subscribe.
In OSX mail, if you create a new (sub)folder you have to inform your colleagues and have to subscribe also.

We have a lot of client emails that we want to keep for review. I now created a user account "openbaar" = public
Users who need to have access have this second account in their outlook for the mac and it is up to date realtime.
