I wanted to change Kerio Operator to use SRV records. I created on domain X.be:

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;_sip._udp.X.be. IN SRV

;; ANSWER SECTION:
_sip._udp.X.be. 60 IN SRV 10 0 5060 ssw8.antwerp.Y.org.
_sip._udp.X.be. 60 IN SRV 30 0 5060 ssw6.brussels.Y.org.
_sip._udp.X.be. 60 IN SRV 20 0 5060 ssw8.brussels.Y.org.
_sip._udp.X.be. 60 IN SRV 30 0 5060 ssw4.antwerp.Y.org.

Switched the routing interface to use X.be. That works, the Operator registers itself with the address that has the highest priority of 10, being ssw8.antwerp.Y.org. I can receive and make calls with Operator.

When I block access to ssw8.antwerp.Y.org, I would suspect the Kerio fails over to another host, priority 20 ssw8.brussels.Y.org.

This is not the case. The interface is not registered anymore and logs fill up with these messages:
[15/Nov/2013 15:13:38] {asterisk} asterisk[3846]: NOTICE[3867]: chan_sip.c:13376 in sip_reg_timeout: -- Registration for 'XXXXXX<_at_>X.be' timed out, trying again (Attempt #67)
[15/Nov/2013 15:13:58] {asterisk} asterisk[3846]: NOTICE[3867]: chan_sip.c:13376 in sip_reg_timeout: -- Registration for 'XXXXXX<_at_>X.be' timed out, trying again (Attempt #68)

I stumbled on page: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+SIP+srvlookup where it says to turn on srvlookup=yes in the asterisks configuration. I checked with the support information and the Kerio Operator has this option enabled.

I'm running 2.2.0 on VMware.

Any ideas?
