First saw this problem when upgraded to outlook 2013 on Win7 64 Bit when I added another mail profile and went to File - Clean-up Tools - Archive the pop up window to then select the archive folders would not appear in the crash log there was a none-descript Operation Failed error.

I could however run a manual archive on the original profile using this method.

Fast forward new drive fresh windows 8.1 and Office 2013
Created the initial account archiving ok

Add new mail profile archive pop up fail as above

Delete the original profile (no profiles) add new one again archive fail (no popup and the error)

The only enabled Add-in Kerio

Disable the Kerio outlook connector and manual archive service restored.

Tested adding second mail profile and archive working as normal.

If I disable the add-in then re enable it seems to work.

Does anyone know if this behavior is fixed post 8.1.2
