Which Kerio directories need to be excluded from anti virus scans? The knowledge base has 2 articles pertaining to NOD32 and Avast antivirus however I use Symantec endpoint protection. Furthermore the articles for the other 2 antivirus software mention to exclude the "store", archive and backup directories but the "archive" directory is within the "store" directory.

So which directories actually need to be excluded from auto-protection scans?

Hi Andrew,

Server Side:
- You will need to exclude the installation folder, normally this is C:\Program Files\Kerio
- You will also need to exclude the Kerio store directory

Client Side:
- You will need to exclude the installation folder, normally this is C:\Program Files\Kerio
- You will also need to exclude the KOFF store directory, this KB has the locations, http://kb.kerio.com/257
- You may also need to disable any AV plugins in Outlook as well

I hope it helps.

All the best,
