First off, I understand that the function of the reservation manager is basically defining the admin of the folder, similar to defining who has admin privileges to the Public Folders in the web admin. Here is where I have see some odd behavior while adding a new event/resource reservation to iCal. I am using Kerio Connect 8.2.1.
If I have a single user defined as the reservation manager, I can go into the Kerio Connect Client and reserve the resource. It shows that the resource has accepted the request with a check mark almost immediately. This reservation is made by a standard user, not the reservation manager. In iCal, this same event/reservation syncs to the resources folder as it should. However, it does not show that the reservation has been accepted by the resource and instead shows a question mark.
If I change the reservation manager to include all users of the client's domain and go back and repeat the steps above, the reservation is shown as accepted in both Kerio Connect Client and in iCal.
I don't know where the possible bug is? Is the bug with iCal in that the reservation should show as accepted right away regardless of who is defined as the reservation manager? Or, is Kerio Connect Client at fault in that it should not show the reservation as accepted until the reservation manager accepts it?
Can someone please explain and/or let me know if this is a bug or not? Thanks!
