Hi!

I use Kerio Control Software Appliance version 8.2.0 build 1334 on my Hyper-V Server 2008 R2.

That is my problem:
I can't enable or disable accounting of the dropped packets in rule "Block other traffic" in realtime. If accounting disabled - I enable him, but nothing happens. I go to "Logs/Filters" and see nothing. And only after reboot the "Logs/Filter" begins to fill. And vice versa: after disable accounting of the dropped packets "Log/Filter" continues to fill - until reboot.

Question: how enable or disable accounting the dropped packets in rule "Block other traffic" without rebooting?

PS: sorry for my English...

Hi!

Today I updated my Kerio to last version - 8.2.1 build 1461.

First I exported all settings to the backup. Then I created a new virtual machine. I installed the new version Kerio on this new VM and after this I restored all settings from backup file.

But without results - after first enable accounting of the dropped packets 'Logs/Filter' begins to fill (I was delighted!), but after disable - continued filling and stopped only after reboot. And all further enabling/disabling not working without reboot.

In all other rules - all ok. Problem only in rule "Block other traffic".

Looks like a bug...

I found the workaround. Maybe it will be helpful to someone. If you enable or disable the logging of packets in the rule "Block other traffic", then change any other rule, and only then click "Apply", then logging starts or stops working immediately - without rebooting.
