Dear Group,

I have recently had some bad issues happen with uneducated users connecting mobil devices, one was due to a virus and the other one caused us to run over our connection limit due to a problem with the users device which caused the server to not allow any further connections, of course it was on a Holiday. I wanted to know if Kerio could add a feature so we can allow or disallow users to add mobil devices. An example would be similar to allow users to email outside the domain or in the domain only. This would ensure that IT has control and can authorize the user first to add a mobil device. Additionally many people do not run any AntiVirus on their Mobil devices so this would allow us to review the device prior to it being directly connected to our Kerio Email Server. It certainly would give administrators more control and a safety factor.

The other issue is we are looking for information or a report that will show all current mobil devices with the users name? I understand you can look at the individual user account but we have over 200 user accounts and going to each user is very cumbersome. Is there a way to quickly get a list of all Mobil Devices?

Kudos to the Kerio Connect Programmers and continue your great work!

In Config under Admin, setup a User Access Policy disabling EAS, IMAP, POP. Blanket your Kerio directory with it until you have proper MDM/HR policies in place. We use a hard-copy sign-off document for anyone who wants EAS or other access. A lot cheaper than AirWatch.

Steve, it's a good idea Smile

Brent, list all mobile devices should be available via Administration API - http://www.kerio.com/developers

here is screenshot with simple example application:

The Sample application is perfect. Any plans this will be integrated to the Admin CP anytime soon? A long with possibly Mobile Device Policies per domain specification?
