I currently host Kerio Connect on a Mac. I was considering shifting to the cloud using Amazon Web Services. AWS, however, doesn't offer Mac-based instances, only Windows and Linux. As I evaluate the various options, I was hoping to get some feedback and narratives of experiences of the members of this community with respect to running Kerio Connect mail server in a Windows environment in lieu of a Mac environment.

1) First and foremost, for which OS is Kerio Connect best suited or optimized (if at all)?
2) What are some of the differences (pros/cons) between hosting on a Windows machine vs. a Mac machine?
3) Is Linux a good alternative?

Any comments and suggestions with respect to choice of OS as well as experiences with AWS would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!
