Hi,

Is kerio connect has the ability of flood control ?

When somebody is trying to hack / guessing account & password or too much traffic from a IP, will kerio connect block/drop the traffic ?

Thanks.

there are various settings you can use:
- maximum number of concurrent connection from one IP to SMTP server
- directory harvest detection (guessing of accounts) with blocking of IP
(for both see tab "SMTP Server" -> "Security Options")

- blocking of IP addresses guessing passwords for existing accounts
("Security" tab)

And you can also slow down attacker with SMTP greeting delay: "Spam Filter" -> "Spam Repellent"
