There's a new service release of Kerio Operator - version 2.2.3. The main reason for this release is the protection against a DDoS attack using the Network Time Protocol. Because of the way NTP is designed (it's an old protocol), it could be abused to generate multiple responses to a single request, thus providing the potential attacker with the "multiplier effect" needed for DDoS. The fix in Operator 2.2.3 prevents this scenario.

This is the change log for version 2.2.3:

Kerio Operator engine
- Prevent potential DDoS attack using Network Time Protocol.

Kerio Operator Administration
- Fix notifications about unsynced provisioned phones that sometimes did not go away after the phone refreshed its configuration.
- Fix detection of IE11 (changes in the User-Agent string).
