Hello,
I want to make an update from version 7.4.2 to version 8.2.2 and i have some questions.

Kerio Connect is running on top of Windows Server 2008R2 x64 machine.

Question: Can i update directly from 7.4.2 x86 to version 8.2.2 x64? Or i have to update first from 7.4.2 x86 to version 8.2.2 x86 and then 8.2.2 x64.

Any other advice is welcome.

Thank you,
Simion Chis

Hello Simion & welcome to the forums!

I would recommend that first of all you update to the last version of Kerio Connect 7 (v7.4.3) which is available from our legacy downloads site http://download.kerio.com. Then download and install the 64 bit version of KC 8.2.2.

The only thing that's a little different is that the 64 bit version will install in /program files (x86) if you're upgrading from the 32bit version, but there's no functional effect.

Also, watch out for this potential issue when installing on Windows Server 2008 R2:

It has been known to affect the Kerio Connect installer.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Neil.
