I am trying to install the latest version of the Kerio outlook connector with offline cache, but I get an error message saying : Error 28102: There is a non-support version of Microsoft outlook detected (15.0.4420.1017).
When I try to install the Kerio Outlook Connector (Offline Edition), I don't get this error and the installation finishes without any issues..
How can i fix this? I am going to use this on a terminal server and I don't want an offline cache since the kerio server is on the same LAN.
I assume your first line in your forum post you meant 'Kerio Outlook Connector without offline cache'. As your 2nd line states the the KOFF connector does work.
Basically the KOC (Kerio Online Connector) is only supported in these versions of Outlook:
Microsoft Outlook 2007 (SP1)
Microsoft Outlook 2003 (SP3)
Microsoft Outlook XP (SP3)
Microsoft Outlook 2000 (SP3)
Also the KOC is not supported in a terminal server. The only connector supported in a terminal server environment is the KOFF (Kerio Offline Connector) unfortunately. We do have people requesting an online version of the offline connector, if you go to:
You can go and vote for the online version of the KOFF connector to be developed. As our developers do check there to see what our customers are requesting.
I have seen some of our customers manage to get the KOC to install in a terminal server environment but it is not easy to do and it is unsupported so I would not recommend it. The only thing you can do is either use the KOFF connector or maybe use WebMail as then the users would not be keeping a duplicate of their email in their windows profile.
