I can't connect KC to my domain.

Error while connecting domain: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_RESET (See attachment)

./fa/3313/0/

What's wrong? My domain works perfect. Replication between two domain controllers works perfect. No DNS server problem. Still can't understend which way to dig. Looks like SMB error.

I've been tested on virtual environment and KC joined to virtual DC with no problem. But in real environment there is problem. B.T.W. DC on Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi Sergey,

Try first to put in the DC's by IP address. And use the FQDN name.

Problem was in registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\srv

Start REG_DWORD value should be set to 2 (instead of 3)

This key switches of any compatibility with old version of SMB. If key value is 3, then SMB compatible with SMB version 3 and above ONLY. So, don't listen Windows BPA suggestion to change this key from 2 to 3. Wait untill Kerio completelly supports new versions of SMB.

Thanks for your attention! Smile

After I restart my w2k12r2 (needed for some KBs), my Control have same error.
NTLM not working and I cannot add Control to domain.
Also - some our WIndows XP have error - I can logon, see mapped disks - but they are unaccesible.

I mean that MS in some KB change NTLM behavior. Uprate to build 8.3.1988 is not solve. And - at server was 2 in key above.

Same problem here.
Active Directory running on Windows Server 2012 R2, Kerio Control
8.3.1 build 2108.
The registry patch mentioned above doesn't work.

Need a quick solution, please!

Try this:
remove FW from domain
restart FW
restart DC
restart FW
rejoin FW to domain

The problem is, that I can't connect the FW to the AD.
Domain Controllers, Active Directory and Firewall are all brand new and not productive, yet.

Restarting FW and DCs doesn't work.
