We recently upgraded to 8.2.2 and are dealing with the sharing changes. We used to be able to share out a User calendar to another person who could then change their events and invite people as needed. With 8.2.2 this changed and a person, even if he was listed as an Owner or Can Change on that users calendar all the sudden couldn't delete or change or invite people on the shared calendar anymore.

Making this person a Delegate of course worked, the person can now effect events and invite as needed on the delegated account.

However this also exposes the users Inbox to that Delegate, and while the user may want the other person to be able to invite others to calendar events they certainly don't want them reading their email. Hiding the Inbox in webmail makes it vanish from sight, however there's nothing stopping the delegate from going into their webmail and just turning the visibility back on.

So how do we create a person who can effect another users calendar but who can't see their inbox?

I realize I can create a public folder however the user does not want this and just wants their main calendar to be editable by another user.

Unfortunately this is out now unless you have person B actually logged in to the calendar AS person A, which is not optimum.
