Hello,

I am trying to install Kerio Connect 8.2.2 on a Ubuntu 12.04 server for trial, but right after de command dpkg -i kerio-connect.deb a screen opens (Kerio Connect - Configurations Wizard) with the message "This field cannot be empty" - "The password cannot be empty and should be at least 8 characters long.".

The screen has a OK button but this doesn't do a thing.
What am i doing wrong?

King regards,

Marco

Hi Mgreven,

You will need to enter something for the password before you can continue. You can have a shorter password than 8 characters but you must enter in something. Does the wizard let you continue when you enter in a password? Or does it still refuse to continue? If it refuses to continue try removing Kerio Connect and re-install.

All the best,
Vicky

i get the message a few seconds after the install command.
There is no screen to enter a password.

Could it be that i am missing some dependencies?
It is a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server

Do you install it via normal terminal, terminal app in Gnome or remotely via SSH?
