Hello,

I´m looking for an alternative to ms outlook (windows) which is working with kerio connect perfectly.
I´ve tried "eM Client" but I missed some features like sharing calendars, mails and contacts with KC. I could certainly use the web client but I´d like to have another software.

Hi Gabor,

I personally have ThunderBird as my backup email client in case anything goes wrong with my primary email client. ThunderBird can have calendars as along as you download and instal the lightning plugin.

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/lightning/

We do not support the lightning plugin but it does seem to offer the most functionality for a Windows platform. We have KB articles to show how to configure the lighting plugin:

http://kb.kerio.com/253

You can also have an LDAP lookup to your Contacts in Kerio via ThunderBird:

ThunderBird itself in my opinion is a good alternative to MS Outlook and its free.

I hope this is useful to you.

All the best,
Vicky

I use emClient for a while and had no trouble getting to shared calendars and contact lists via CalDev. I stopped using it because is doesn't see shared mail folders. The built-in chat client also supports KC.

My daily e-mail client is Thunderbird using IMAP, with the lightning plug in for calendars (I have 4 active) and LDAP for address lookups.
