Hi,

One of our clients is trying to send emails out through a mailing list, but a lot of sites are blocking them for various reasons.

Is there a way to limit:

- Email sending rate. Can Kerio "stagger" sending out mailing list emails so that they're only sent, say, in blocks of 5-10 emails every few minutes?
- Limit the number of recipients to a certain amount. I'm thinking we might be more successful in getting the emails out if we could limit the amount of recipients that Kerio adds on to the email to a certain number (say 10 at a time).

Hi,
I guess your client tries to use mailing list for mass mailing (e.g. newsletters).
Mailing lists are not intended to this purpose. There are specialized bulk email marketing tools, free or paid. Use these specialized tools & Kerio Connect SMTP server.

They were using a specialised bulk email program (and sending out via Kerio Connect), but were still getting the same issues (ISP's blocking the emails as they were sending out too many at once).

I was hoping that Kerio Connect could stagger the release of the emails as to try and avoid those issues.

Hello Michael,

Whilst we can't endorse any third party products or providers, you may find a service like AuthSMTP useful:

http://www.authsmtp.com

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Neil.
