Hi,

We are switching from ATT 9.5Mbs copper to ATT Flexible Reach IP, 50Mbs fiber.

Has anyone been down this path and are there any implications for Operator Box with PRI card?

Thanks,

ft.

Hi,

This probably means they will emulate the PRI for you using a box of theirs. But maybe you already had it emulated unless you had a separate T1 in addition to that 9.5 Mbs link. You may ask about the PRI parameters (signalling type, etc.) just to be sure but I suppose they should remain the same.

Yes, we have PRI emulated already (I had not realized that but it was explained as part of this upgrade). ATT say they do PRI emulation in 95% of installations.

I will check re. PRI parameters, but hopefully no changes.

Many thanks,

ft.
