Hi, Does anyone know what happens to a fax that tries to send with no answer - does it retry, or should the user get a notification. We've been testing this and can see some fax messages are getting no answer - but it never tells the user they have not sent as far as I can see?

Hi Alain,

your observation is correct - when the other party doesn't answer a fax call, the user is not notified. You have to monitor the Operator client interface and wait until the call is answered. The status of the call will then change to "Sending fax...". Since then, whatever happens, will be reported back to the user by email. You should receive either a positive or a negative confirmation email.

Best,
Filip

Hmmmm... I did not realize this.

An email notification to the sender to say that the fax call was not answered would be very helpful.

Thanks,

ft.
