When shutting down Kerio Connect in the Kerio Connect Monitor to reboot the server, the Apple System Preferences freeze completely after a few seconds. Kerio is shut down, but I can't reach the machine anymore. It is located in a datacenter a few kilometers from here, so for every small thing I have to sit next to the server to do a 'hard' reboot.

Apple Xserve
OS X Server 10.6.8
Kerio Connect 8.2.4 (but it's been happening with previous versions as well)

Anyone an idea?

It doesn't solve the problem, but as the workaround the Kerio Connect 8.2 supports restart directly from WebAdmin, you must not use System Preferences.

How to restart Kerio Connect from WebAdmin:
Status -> System Health -> Tasks -> Restart Kerio Connect...

Thanks! Is there also a shutdown option within the web interface? I need to shutdown Kerio and restart the whole server.

It's not necessary to stop manualy Kerio Connect before rebooting of server.

Yes, but the server won't reboot if Kerio doesn't quit.
