I am running Kerio 8.2.4 on a Mac behind a Check Point firewall (which was recently added to the network). Ever since the firewall has been configured, I have noticed various problems receiving messages including bounced e-mail to senders from various domains including gmail.com and more recently incoming e-mails being delivered with a huge lag of several hours.

To address the problem with bounced e-mails to gmail, I had to override the setting on the firewall to reject messages with invalid STARTTLS policies (or something along those lines). However, I am hoping someone on here can help me solve the problem with delayed e-mails.

Is the Checkpoint firewall configured as mail relay? If so you have to check the firewall log for reaseon for delayed messages. Also, on Kerio Connect, you should switch off spam repellent, black lists and grey listing as they are useless when you have a relayhost inbetween.
