I currently have the Kerio Connect 8.2.4 (64 bits) on a Windows 7 Host.

It has a Four core Xeon Processor and 8 GB of RAM. It is currently servicing 120 users.

I find that sometimes some clients do not have access to some services.

I found that Windows 7 has a connection limit and I want to know if this restriction does apply to Kerio Connect incoming TCP connections.

Thanks

Hi benjalamelami

Any OS based limits will apply to Kerio Connect. I would seriously consider moving to a Server OS instead of a desktop as it is better suited to the amount of users you have.

I hope this helps.

Dear Mark

Thanks for your answer. I guess my easiest option would be migrating my OS to Windows 2008R2 server. Are you aware of any information I should have with known issues this OS?

Or is it very easy migrating 1TB worth of data to a linux box?

Hi benjalamelami

I'd suggest looking at our migration KB -

http://kb.kerio.com/360

this details how to move from server to server and to change OS.

I'd probably consider clearing out any unwanted mail as 1TB of mail store is very large. it would help in moving/migrating too if this was smaller.

Hope this helps.
