I would like to see contacts in Thunderbird (on Linux).

How do I add the Kerio LDAP server as a directory server to Thunderbird?

I've attached screen shots of the fields that need to be completed in Thunderbird. What values do I enter?

How do I query the Kerio LDAP server over the command line. I have tried:

 ldapsearch -x -b "fn=public,fn=ContactRoot" -s sub -D "uid=XXXXX" -h 10.0.2.9 -w sa "(uid=*)"

Kind regards

Robert

Hi Vicky,

mmm ... no luck Crying or Very Sad

A screenshot of the debug log is attached.

1. What is the correct DN? The log says "Wrong DN"
2. I have tried with and without SSL, the error message is in both cases "secure authentication required"

Kind Regards

Rob

Use LDAPS on port 636. You've selected on Connect that secure password authentication must be used for all services. Simple LDAP bind is not secure. You need to use LDAPS.
