Hi I have a seemingly stupid problem, but it is driving me mad. I'm trying to logg in to one off our company accounts and it keep sending me the "incorrect password" message.

I know im not typing it in wrong because it works on two other computers. When i try it on my laptop for example, it works fine. On the desktop were i have the problem i can still log in to other mail accounts, so its just one of them that isn't working.

I tried to change the password from the admin page
I tried to remove the webb history

but nothing works and i am very confused?!

(plz dont suggest that i'm typing it in wrong, i'm not a total idiot)

Do you use multiple keyboard input languages?

Thus special characters in your password might be on a different keyboard position.

yea, I thought about that as well. Its not the problem I tryd writing the passwor in a nother feild and it spells out right. Plus it has always worked untill this morning.

Well accualy the problem has solved itself now, dont know how or y it dident work erlier. I use the same autofill from firefox and now i get in...

like I said it sounds like this is a simple writing mistake, but it wasent.

So the problem disappeard, but it keeps coming back. It's on different computers on different times every day, tough some computers always works.

I use the same username and password when i try to log in and suddenly it sends me the message "incorrect login". Maybe one hour later it works again. I can still login on other accounts on the computers that sends me the message.

Like i said before i know for sure i'm not typing it in wrong in any way, i tried both typing it in by hand over 10 times and use the autofill from firefox that worked 5 min earlier.

This is really bugging me...

Do you use special characters, punctation on your password? How long is your password? What operating system are you running? Do you use incompatible password manager? If so, please reinstall your third-party software.

No there is no special characters, just letters and numbers. It's 10 symbols long. Im using mac OS x 10.9.2 on my laptop. 10.8.2 on the desktop that has the problem but another desktop that uses 1.8.2 it works without problem. I don't use any third-part programs. Just the normal web page login.

Are your date, time & timezone settings all OK, and match the server?

I had a similar issue with a user here - we had "Store password in strongly secure SHA format" selected. It didn't seem to like the password but as soon as we un-checked that it worked fine.
