When trying to register the trial version, an error occurs (see kc_admin_register_fail.png screenshot):

"There was a problem while obtaining license from the server. Please check your server or try again later."

Our IP address 80.152.154.203

How do I register the trial version?

Kind regards
Robert

I guess your server is hidden in local network behind firewall, the IP address 80.152.154.203 does not lead to Kerio Connect installation.

Has the server access to register.kerio.com?

I can ping that server

blah<_at_>linsvr29:/opt/kerio/mailserver# ping register.kerio.com
PING register.kerio.com (195.113.184.8): 48 data bytes
56 bytes from 195.113.184.8: icmp_seq=0 ttl=55 time=45.686 ms
56 bytes from 195.113.184.8: icmp_seq=1 ttl=55 time=52.251 ms
56 bytes from 195.113.184.8: icmp_seq=2 ttl=55 time=51.179 ms

What else can I test?

It looks like your firewall block/modify communication between Kerio Connect server and register.kerio.com - you should ask your sys admin for logs, or try temporarily disable any rules/protocol inspections which can affect the communication.

Thank you for your help.

Yes, seems like something is blocking on the server as this works at home but not at work.

What ports need to be open to reach register.kerio.com (195.113.184.8 ) ?

Fixed: I added a proxy to the kerio configuration in the admin web site: Configuration -> Advanced Options -> Http Proxy

I should have tried that first Embarassed
