Hello,

We are using Kerio Connect for a few years now, and I never had the following issue.
When we send a mail to one specific domain, we are receiving the 4.4.2 connection lost error in Message Queue.

It is like that for more than a week now. I contacted the other side, they are using Exchange 2010. They say they have no firewall or mail rule specific to us.

The issue could have started with the last kerio upgrade (8.2.4).

The situation becomes critical for us. Any idea ? Where can I create an official support ticket? Is this forum the right place ?

Thank you !

In the Debug log, enable "SMTP Server" messages.

In the queue, highligt one of the problem messages and click "Try to send now".

Look at the debug log and post the relevant messages here. It is important to find out where exactly during the SMTP phase the timeout happens.

Thank you,

When you are in Debug log, move your mouse pointer to the right big window and right-click. Click on "Messages...".

I sent a test mail to them from our Kerio server (8.2.4) and it went through:

First of all it looks like their primary mail server (mail.sogepa.be) does not respond. The secondary mail server responds (mail2.sogepa.be).

It is strange that you get a "SMTP connection closed while reading SMTP reply". Can you reach out to their mail admin and ask him why their first mail server does not respond? Also ask them, if they see in their logs why you get a "SMTP connection closed while reading SMTP reply"?
