Hello,

We are using kerio Connect 8.2. Most of our users are connected via Kerio Outlook Connector 8.2.

Will our KOC 8.2 still works after the update ?

@freakinvibe: oops... my message wasn't complete !

We are planning to upgrade our Kerio Connect server from version 8.2.2 to version 8.3.0. Most of our users are using the Outlook Connector (8.2.2).

I have red that Kerio Updater Service will automatically update the Kerio Outlook Connector. As my users doesn't have administrative right will this be possible ? If not, will the 8.2.2 Kerio Outlook Connector still synchronize data from the Kerio Connect Server ?

If the Kerio Updater Service is installed on users' computers, then KOFF does not require administrator rights for update.

Thank you for the link but I can read this :

Kb:
This installs automatically for users who have Administrator rights on their computer. Otherwise, a one-time manual upgrade is needed.

Does it means that only Kerio Updater Service must be once installed with Administrator rights ? This should be installed as I've previously installed Kerio Outlook Connecter 8.2.2 Smile

The article is unintelligible now, it's 3 years old and described situation when we introduced first version of Kerio Updater Service in Kerio Connect 7.3.0

In short:
If the Kerio Updater Service is already installed on users' computers (it was installed with admin rights), then KOFF does not require administrator rights for any future update.
