Is there a possibillity to not sync public calendars to Windows phone? Now all public appointments are shown in the calendar on the phone?

Hi Pepe,

The only way to not automatically sync the public calendar is to configure your email account as an IMAP account. I assume you have configured your account as an Exchange account and this will automatically sync the Public Contacts and calendar if the device supports it.

However if you setup your email account as an IMAP account it will only sync your email. This will solve your issue of stopping the calendar being synced automatically.

I hope this helps.

Uncheck the public calendar option in Folder to sync setting (Exchange ActiveSync): http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-connect/email-clients/keri o-connect-client/synchronizing-folders-with-mobile-devices-1 507.html

Hello Pavel, I obviously allready tried this option. It makes no difference wether I check or uncheck the syncing public calendar box.
The calendar items are allways synced to my WP8 phone.

Any ideas on this? Thank you.

Hello Vicky, but when I do this I will need CALDAV/CARDDAV clients to sync contacts ans calendar items. There aren't reliable clients for the WP8 (AFIK).

Thank you anyway.

Hi Pepe,

You can follow the instructions my colleague Pavel suggested, I clearly had a blonde moment (sorry about that) and should have advised that you go into WebMail and untick the calendar from syncing.

All the best,
Vicky

Have you tried to create a new account on the phone after unchecking the calendar checkbox? Maybe the phone is not able to process folder change.
