In the Kerio Connect Admin settings a default signature (footer) to append to outgoing messages is specified.

When sending emails from a smartphone, the custom signature from the phone (e.g. sent from my samsung) and the default signature from the server are both appended to the email.

(When sending emails from thunderbird and outlook where a custom signature is specified, the default footer from the admin settings is not used and only the custom signature is used.)

Is it possible on smart phones to only append one signature, i.e. the default server signature if the smartphone does not have its own signature or only the custom signature from the phone?

(At our company, Outlook and the smart phones use exchange active sync. Thunderbird uses IMAP / SMTP.)

Kind regards
Robert

Hi Robert,

Sadly there is not a way to tell Kerio to append one signature and not the other. The domain signature (as you said) will append itself to each outgoing email regardless of if the device the email is sending for also has a signature.

By all means feel free to use the 'Suggest Idea' button to request this as a feature but I honestly do not know if this will be possible.

All the best,
Vicky
