Hi,

We don't currently use the built in admin account but access by the admin account created back when we did the original install several years ago.

We archive all mail, if we need to recover anything from the archive we log in with this admin account as it has an email address associated with it and this is where all the archived mail lives.

If the built in account does not have an email address and we switch to using this (thus getting rid of the old admin one to free a mailbox) how do we access the email archive?

Hello zebby,

You should be able to access the archived email through any user account with Archive Folder Admin rights (Webadmin->Accounts->Users->[highlight a user]->Edit->Rights->[tick Folder administration->Archive Folders].

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Neil.
